 The Alboran Golf Course is at the end of the road with views of the fairway from the beautiful pool area.  The beach is a few minutes walk away and a little further on is a selection of bars, restaurants and tapas bars.  There are good quality large hotels within walking distance who welcome non residents that wish to use their facilities.  El Toyo and Retamar are tranquil areas suitable for golfers, couples and young families alike.  This is not a resort for lively holidays.  The airport of Almeria is approx 8 minutes drive away and Almeria City 11km away with its beach, port, restaurants and shops and hypermarkets. 

Car hire is recommended to fully appreciate this area which is close to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park.  Airport transfers can be arranged. Welcome packs can be ordered for your arrival and please note that all local shops are closed on Sundays and Spanish public holidays (of which there are numerous).
