A short walk in one direction will take you to the larger urbanisation with an abundance of bars and restaurants (a selection of English bars here) and large Playa hotels. A walk in the other direction will take you to the large marina again with a beautiful beach and many Spanish tapas bars.
The local bus stops opposite the apartment which takes you to the Gran Plaza Shopping Centre with hypermarket, shops, bars, restaurants (including the inevitable McDonalds!!), bowling alley and cinema complex. Mario Water Park is also close to this (open high season only) and a new Roller Skating rink and dance centre. For those Golfers this apartment is a short distance from Playa Serena Golf Course and a 15 minute drive from La Envia Golf course.
