A 15 minute walk will take you along the palm lined promenade to the marina where you will find a variety of restaurants serving anything from tapas to fresh fish. A 15-20 minute walk along the opposite way will take you to the Avenida Mediterrano where you wwill find shops, bars, restaurants (including tapas and Chinese, Indian and Italian) and gift shops.
A 50 minute drive will take you to Oasys which was used as a film set for many Western moves such as The Good the Bad and the Ugly. This is now a museum and has wild west shows, a zoo with exotic animals and swimming pools. A good day out for all the family. Granada with the famous Alhambra Palace is within a two hours drive along with the Ski Resort of Sol y Nieve in Sierra Nevada.
