Alboran Golf has been developed by Ramon Espinosa, a prestigious Golf Architect. The Course nestles in the development of El Toyo in Retamar, a few metres from the beach, Cabo de Gato Natural Park, 10km from Almeria City and approx 10 minutes drive from the airport. This course was used for the 2005 Mediterranean Games.
Alboran Golf has a course of 6278 m2, 18 holes and par-72. There are 66 bunkers all placed around the course to ensure that no relaxation can take place. This is a defiant course testing all abilities. There is a driving range and different training areas which will serve as a Golf School
The highest standards have been set when designing this Golf Course suitable for seasoned golfers and amateurs alike. Our year round warm climate is ideal for winter Golfing breaks. The Course has been designed to meet the requirements of the American Golf Association (USGA) with respect to the environment
